One-to-one coaching

Skill and performance

Skill and performance coaching is one-to-one work on the specific abilities that turn effort into results, such as communication, leadership, decision making and time management. It helps professionals practise those abilities in real situations until they hold up under pressure.

Who this is for

For professionals in the Randstad or online who want to communicate with more impact, lead with confidence, decide under pressure, or get a grip on their time.

Format
Online, or in person across the Randstad
Hours
Monday to Sunday, 08:00 - 22:00 CET
First step
A free consultation, no obligation

You are working hard, but the results do not show it. You may have just inherited a team that does not yet trust you. You may freeze when a decision has to be made on the spot. Perhaps your calendar is full but the work that would actually move things forward keeps slipping. You know you are capable. Something specific is getting in the way.

Coaching is not about giving you more advice or telling you to work harder. I work with you one to one on the specific capability that will make the most difference, whether that is communicating with impact, leading a team, deciding under pressure or getting a grip on your time. We practise it in real situations until it holds up on a bad day. That is the difference between knowing what to do and being able to do it when it counts.

You leave with something you can use immediately, not a notebook full of good intentions. You catch yourself before the old pattern takes over. The difficult conversation happens, and it goes better than you expected. Your calendar starts to reflect what matters. Effort finally translates into results.

Does this sound familiar?

You might recognise some of this

If more than one of these lands, this is usually the right place to start.

  • You keep working hard but your effort does not turn into results.
  • You have just inherited a team and you are not sure how to lead them.
  • You freeze or second guess yourself when you have to make a decision under pressure.
  • Your calendar is full but your most important work keeps slipping.
  • You avoid difficult conversations and wish you could say what needs to be said.

The work

What we work on together

01

Communication under pressure

We take a real conversation you keep avoiding or a message you need to land and work on it directly. You practise the words, the timing and the delivery until it feels natural.

02

Leading your team

We look at the team you have just inherited or the one you already lead and find the one leadership move that will shift the dynamic. You practise it in real situations and review what happened.

03

Decision making

We work on decisions you are facing now, not hypothetical ones. You build a repeatable way to assess information, act and learn from the outcome.

04

Time and priorities

We audit your actual calendar and to do list, not a time management theory. You practise saying no and protecting the hours that matter.

Outcomes

What you leave with

  • You can say what needs to be said, clearly and without over preparing.
  • You know the first move to make with the team you lead.
  • You have a decision making process you trust when the pressure rises.
  • Your calendar reflects what matters most, not everyone else's demands.

How it works

Getting started

  1. Free first consultation

We meet for a free consultation, in person or online, to name the skill or performance gap that matters most.

  2. Focused one-to-one sessions

We practise the specific capability in real situations, with feedback between sessions when you need it.

  3. Review and embed

We check what held up, what slipped, and adjust until it works on a bad day.

In their words

What people say

I was torn between two job opportunities and felt stuck. Louisa helped me explore my values, priorities, and long-term goals, bringing clarity to the decision. With her guidance, I chose the role that aligns best with my aspirations, making the process far more manageable.
Esther Clarity in career decisions
As a Director of Technology, I initially led with a technical, performance-driven style. Louisa’s coaching helped me trust my team, delegate effectively, and foster engagement. By shifting my mindset, I now lead with confidence, balancing strategy and team development, transforming both my leadership and team performance.

Questions about skill and performance

Still unsure whether this is the right fit? Ask directly. A short call usually settles it faster than a brochure.

Ask a question
Is this coaching online or in person?
Both. I coach in person across the Randstad and online worldwide. You choose what suits you, and many clients mix the two.
How is this different from therapy?
Coaching focuses on your current performance and building specific skills, not on treating mental health conditions. We work on what you want to improve now, and I will refer you to a therapist if that is the right support.
Do I need to have a goal before we start?
No. We will name the goal together in the free first consultation. You can arrive with a vague frustration or a very specific situation.
What times are sessions available?
Sessions run 08:00 to 22:00 CET, Monday to Sunday. Weekends are by arrangement.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no fixed number. We work at your pace and review progress as we go.
Can you help with public speaking?
Yes. We work on the specific speaking situation you face, from a board presentation to a hard conversation. You practise it until it holds up under pressure.

The first conversation is free

If skill and performance is what you are dealing with, start with a conversation. No obligation, and no charge.
