Coach
I have been a coach for over 10 years and am passionate about helping others grow, thrive, and find a better balance, sense of purpose, and increased fulfilment.
I am Louisa, a coach whose work is to help you towards your best self: to gain clarity, work through what is in the way, and thrive. Growth happens when you feel supported enough to step outside your comfort zone. I bring energy and balance to my sessions, and I take the work seriously without taking myself too seriously.
About me
I value honesty, authenticity, compassion and fun. Those four sit underneath everything I do. I get a great deal of energy from the people around me: socialising, laughing and connection are core ingredients in my life.
I have been a coach for over 10 years and am passionate about helping others grow, thrive, and find a better balance, sense of purpose, and increased fulfilment.
I design and deliver workshops on how to influence, negotiate, manage conflict and connect with others. It starts by understanding ourselves better.
I have been a corporate trainer and facilitator for 25 years, helping individuals improve their performance in leading, communication and personal development.
I love to be in nature. You will find me on the lakes on my SUP amongst the lily pads and birds, or open water swimming long distances. Water is where I switch off.
I moved as an expat from London to the Netherlands 20 years ago and settled my family here. As a mother of three, I understand the joys and the struggles life can bring.
I keep learning, and I hold these qualifications:
My story
1998
Launched my career in learning and development as a trainer at Reed Business School and the Reed Learning Training Centre in London.
2006
Founded Pursue Your Potential, specialising in coaching and in designing and delivering learning and development courses.
2007
Relocated as an expat, and started again in a country where I knew almost no one. It is the reason expat coaching is not an abstract subject for me.
2008
Delivered coaching and learning programmes to organisations including Shell, Danone, Unilever and Oracle.
2020
Started Savva Coaching to work one to one with individuals rather than only with organisations, and to give the coaching side of the work a home of its own.
People I have worked with
I was torn between two job opportunities and felt stuck. Louisa helped me explore my values, priorities, and long-term goals, bringing clarity to the decision. With her guidance, I chose the role that aligns best with my aspirations, making the process far more manageable.
As a Director of Technology, I initially led with a technical, performance-driven style. Louisa’s coaching helped me trust my team, delegate effectively, and foster engagement. By shifting my mindset, I now lead with confidence, balancing strategy and team development, transforming both my leadership and team performance.
Louisa’s coaching helped me navigate Dutch work culture as a Finance BP and expat from Ukraine. I learned to handle disagreements, communicate clearly, and manage emotions professionally. Her guidance also gave me the tools to support my daughter’s adaptation, making a real difference in our lives.
Being made redundant in my 50s was a shock, but Louisa helped me see it as an opportunity. Her coaching reignited my passions and gave me the confidence to leave the corporate world and retrain as a yoga instructor. Now, I’m starting a career I love, thanks to her guidance.
During a challenging period in my life, Louisa provided the space and guidance I needed to regain clarity and strength. Her coaching helped me process my emotions, rebuild my confidence, and take positive steps forward. I’m incredibly grateful for her unwavering support and transformative impact.
As an HR Advisor recovering from Lung Covid, I struggled with low energy and brain fog. Louisa’s coaching helped me structure my week, prioritise tasks, and rebuild activity levels without burnout. Her support restored my focus, confidence, and balance, enabling me to perform effectively while continuing my recovery journey.
